Terms of use
By using FoodAureo, you agree to use it as a general pantry-planning and food-waste-reduction tool. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the app or website.
Expiry estimates
FoodAureo estimates when an ingredient may need using soon from general planning windows and the date recorded in the app. Actual condition and safe storage life vary with the ingredient, packaging, preparation, temperature, handling and other circumstances FoodAureo cannot observe.
Labels such as “Likely fresh”, “Use soon”, “Check before using” and “Likely expired” are organisational prompts. They are not safety determinations and must not replace package dates, recalls, official advice or your inspection of the food.
No medical, dietary or safety advice
FoodAureo does not provide medical, nutritional, allergy, dietary or food-safety advice. Recipe information may not account for your allergies, intolerances, health needs or cross-contamination risks. Check ingredients and seek appropriately qualified advice where needed.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking food before use, following manufacturer instructions and authoritative food-safety guidance, and deciding whether an ingredient or recipe is suitable for you and your household.
Availability and changes
FoodAureo may change as the app develops. Features, recipe content and availability may be updated or withdrawn. We aim to keep local data compatible, but you should keep any exports you need and maintain your own device backups.
Intellectual property
The FoodAureo name, visual identity, app, website and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use them only as needed for ordinary personal use of FoodAureo.
